Abstract
The research examines the entrepreneurial environment of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, by studying the way cultural and social components with material aspects affect regional business startup activity. Research applies Spigel’s ecosystem model to analyze how separate attributes in the entrepreneurial environment influence each other while building an entrepreneurial support system. The researchers gathered data through semi-structured interviews conducted with both entrepreneurs and representatives from Sheraa, Ruwad, and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce by using qualitative exploratory case study methodology. The research demonstrates that cultural perspectives about risk-taking alongside entrepreneurism are in transition, but traditional societal preferences favor maintaining stability. Social networks, together with mentorship opportunities and investment capital, represent essential enabling factors for entrepreneurial success because they receive backing from supportive material infrastructure and forward-thinking policies and institutional partners. Local strategic approaches need to emphasize the interactive nature of ecosystem elements since they determine entrepreneurial growth success. The research delivers valuable guidance to policymakers and support groups who want to enhance regional entrepreneurial development by providing specific approaches to develop inclusive innovation platforms in comparable emerging economies.
