Many people in remote locations are relying on diesel generators to meet their power demands. Extending the national electricity grid is a very expensive option, and will take a long time to accomplish. Therefore, we have come up with an alternative solution which could solve these problems at a very economical rate. Although UAE has the potential to utilize renewable energies, people have not considered it as an option due to a lack of awareness. Also, using just one type of energy source to generate electricity is a common practice. However, we have found out a way to generate electricity by combining two types of energy sources which are wind and solar energy.en-USSolar energy--United Arab EmiratesWind power--United Arab EmiratesHarvesting Wind and Solar Energy for Off-Grid Applications in the UAEProject
