The challenge is not only to deliver knowledge and content but also to train students in the practices of sustainability management which they will need for future careers in the field. This article describes the experience of launching an undergraduate elective at an AACSB accredited business school of a state university in the Florida system. Here the authors explain how a problem-based learning approach and cooperation with a university-based Small Business Development Center have added value to the course delivery and outcomes. Students develop competencies not only in green business practice but in consulting project management.
